The Canterbury Summer School English Language Course

The course dates for 2010 are:

Saturday 24 July to Saturday 7 August 2010.

A Typical Day Includes …

In the mornings - singing and recitation; English lessons; drama
In the afternoons – craft; sports or sightseeing
In the evenings - disco, cinema, beach barbecue, ten pin bowling or host family

At the end of each day students may choose between sports or shopping / sight-seeing  in the city of Canterbury.

A theatre visit to London’s West End.
A day at the cosmopolitan seaside town of Brighton on the South Coast of England.
An end of course graduation party to which host families and parents are invited.

Accommodation …

Students stay with our carefully chosen host families. All meals are provided and special diets can be catered for if requested. We arrange the daily travel to and from the Centre.

Travel …

We will meet students arriving at the following airports or stations on Saturday 24 July only between 08:00 and 18:00:

London Heathrow; Gatwick, Stansted or Luton; and Ashford International.

We will return students to these airports or stations on Saturday 7 August between 08:00 and 18:00.

Please note: Students arriving and departing on any other day or time will need to pay an extra airport transfer fee (currently £100 each way).

We have good families in Canterbury who will host you and teach you English for 3, 4 or 5 hours a day.
