Welcome to Canterbury Summer School.

English Language Course Dates for 2009: Saturday, 25 July to Saturday, 8 August.

Our summer school is for teenagers (13 – 18) from schools in non-English speaking countries. We offer a full day’s programme of English lessons and activities from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. There are 12 - 15 students per group and students are placed in groups according to their level of English. Our teachers use a Steiner / Waldorf approach in their teaching.

The genuine care that we give our students and the friendly atmosphere in the school, encourage the students to make friends across different language groups and to make the most of their time in England. By the end of the course it is rewarding to see how naturally the students are communicating in English!
Lessons take place in the beautiful Elham Valley just outside Canterbury in a local village school. During the course the students will visit Canterbury, London and Brighton. In their free time they will have the chance to see many other sights as they explore this beautiful, coastal area of England with their host families.
